Panel Properties
Panel Properties determine the layout, size and general look and feel of the panel on the homepage. Panel properties apply to all panel types and include:
Panel Properties
Panel Title
The Panel Title is the text that appears in the Panel Header. This is a mandatory property.
Title Link
Use the Title Link to specify a URL to link to when the user clicks on the Panel Title. This is an optional property.
Panel Position
The Panel Position specifies the position of the panel on the homepage and relative to other panels on the homepage. Within Homepage Designer, panels are laid out on the homepage in a grid fashion. There are 12 columns across and a maximum of 46 rows.
Use the Top, Left, Width and Height to specify the position of the panel on the Homepage.
- Top and Left specify the grid coordinate to start drawing the panel from.
- Width specifies the number of columns
- Height specifies the number of rows
Show Header
The Show Header checkbox specifies whether or not to display the header bar with the panel title when the panel is rendered. You may opt to turn off the header with Image panel types where a header may detract from the image. You may also find it useful to turn off headers for Report panel types as FluenceXL reports and Power BI may already have their own titles built into the report.
Header Tooltip
The Header Tooltip is the text displayed when a user mouses over the Panel Header.
Show Border
The Show Border checkbox specified whether or not to display the border around the panel when the panel is rendered. You may opt to turn off the header with Image panel types where a border may detract from the image.

Html Panels
You can use Html panels to display custom html content.
To create an html panel you will need to upload the html contents to the Fluence file system as a generic file and then select the file in Homepage Designer.

Image Panels
Images such as logos, graphics and illustrations can be rendered on a homepage.
To create an image panel you will need to upload the image to the Fluence file system as a generic file and then select the file in Homepage Designer.

Image Link (Optional) |
Use the Image Link to specify a URL to link to when the user clicks on the image. For example, if the image is your company logo, the image link may link to your company's website. |

List Panels
List panels allow you to create a panel with a list of links that can link to urls or other Fluence files. The list can include a folder structure to help categorize similar list items.

Use the List Items control to specify list items, their links and optionally categorize them into folders.
Link to URL Type the full URL including the http:// or https:// Example: https://www.fluencetech.com/

Report Panels
Report panels are used to render FluenceXL or PowerBI reports.
To create a report panel you will need to upload the FluenceXL report or PowerBI report to the Fluence file system as a generic file and then select the file in Homepage Designer.

Shortcut Panels
Shortcut panels are panels that contain a link to a Fluence folder in Fluence Explorer or a Fluence file. These shortcuts allow the user to quickly navigate to a folder or quickly launch a Fluence file from the Homepage.

Text Panels
Text panels ae used to display simple text on a panel.
To create a text panel you will need to upload the text file to the Fluence file system as a generic file and then select the file in Homepage Designer.

Workflow Contributor List Panels
Workflow Contributor List panels display workflow details in a table format similar to the Workflow Task List. When designing this type of panel, you can choose whether to show details for all assigned workflows or a single workflow.

Workflow Count Panels
The Workflow Count panel displays counters for the status of each task in all assigned workflows or a specific workflow. You can also show the number of tasks in a particular state such as the number of Overdue tasks in all all assigned workflows or a specific workflow.
This panel is interactive. For example, when users clicks on an Overdue status counter, they are linked to their Workflow Task List already filtered to show only tasks that are overdue.

Workflow Process Panels
Workflow Process panels display a diagram of a specific workflow process. The diagram includes an indicator of the status of each task in the process. You can use this type of panel to give users the overall picture of the process they are involved in.

Initial Zoom | Use the slider to set the initial zoom percentage. |

Note: There can only be one Process Panel per Homepage. If a Process Panel and Workflow Status Panel are both included on the same Homepage, they must refer to the same Workflow.
Workflow Status Panels
The Workflow Status panel display a semi-circle graphical chart indicating the percentage of Workflow Tasks per Owner in a specific workflow.

Note: There can only be one Workflow Status Panel per Homepage. If a Process Panel and Workflow Status Panel are both included on the same Homepage, they must refer to the same Workflow.
Workflow Summary Panels
The Workflow Summary panel displays counters and team members for all assigned workflows or a specific workflow.
This panel is interactive.
- Users may click on the Process to link to their Workflow Task List already filtered to show only tasks in the selected process.
- Users may click on a Status Counter to their Workflow Task List already filtered to show only tasks that are in the same state as the status selected.
- Users may mouse over the Team Members to view the team members involved in a workflow process either as an Owner, Supervisor or Contributor.
