• Hierarchy Manager:
  • An 'Incorrect syntax' error was encountered when performing member maintenance where property names contained spaces.
  • Users were unable to create a child member under the top node of a dimension.
  • The Expand/Collapse icon disappeared after a parent member was moved up or down in the Hierarchy Manager.
  • Users were unable to save changes to the sort order of members in alternate hierarchies.

  • • In some cases, workflows would fail because two tasks within a bursted workflow (ForEach) would encounter a conflict when Lock tasks were used within the workflow.

Consolidation

• In some cases, the copy opening process failed to transfer data correctly from the previous year.

• Copying Journal Entries with the periodicity parameter sometimes triggered an error message when posting the journal entry.

• The Manage Ownership editor showed the base member's name instead of the shared member's name when a setting was applied to a shared member.

• The Investment Registry will now show the Equity Adjustment input link for all incremental transactions.

• In workflow, added handling for processes waiting to acquire a Lock task for more than 10 minutes. This issue caused contention between process instances eventually causing a failure in the workflow.
• Added additional detail regarding the ForEach instance member name to the Run drop list in Run Lock workflow tasks nested within bursted (ForEach) workflow diagrams.

Important Information

JE Security

A new Application Flag, JESecurity, has been added to enable Journal Entry Security. When it is enabled, the security that has been set up for the Read and Write Security Profiles will be applied to the Journals module. When enabled, users will only be able to query journals that they have read access to, and users will only be able to create journals for members that they have write access to. 

The default for the Journals Security Application Flag is false. 

Note: The Feature Flag ModelSecurity must also be true for Journals Security to take effect.

Legacy Cash Flow Details Report

Legacy Cash Flow Details report (previously located in Explorer under Consolidation\Reports) have been discontinued. A web version of the report is now available under Consolidation\Reports\Web Reports.

• The sign on, sign out and web portal header have been rebranded to incorporate Anaplan's new branding. 

Consolidation 

• The system now features the Ultimate Rate Calculation, automatically determining ownership percentages using Direct Ownership data and defined percentage ranges.

• The Manage Ownership and Direct Ownership web editors now include Export/Import capabilities.

• Conversion override rates can now be set by Intercompany dimension members.
  
  

• Enhancements to Multi-Dimensional Calculations include:

  • Calculation capabilities for static accounts and parent entities.

Platform 

• Authorizations for JE functionality has been separated into more granular authorizations.

• A new authorization has been added to delete a Journal Configuration. This operation cannot be undone.

•  In Journals, the ability to post to periodic amounts has been added. This only applies if the scenario is periodic (that is, the Input_Periodic property is set to True).

• Based on user feedback, we have updated the toolbar in the Journals module. Generally, the behavior where the icons toggled on and off based on the state of the Journal Entry has been replaced by icons that remain in their respective positions and become enabled and disabled as appropriate.

• You can now attach generic files to the following workflow tasks: Data Input, Review, Reporting. This allows these workflow tasks to contain links to generic files that have been uploaded to the Fluence Explorer, for example: pdf and regular xlsx files (that are not  XML Forms, or Anaplan XL reports).

• The Mappings Editor now displays the member caption in a Caption column beside the Mapped Value column. 

• A new option Enforce open/closed periods for writeback, has been added to the Model Configuration pane. When enabled, it will disallow Anaplan XL writeback reports to write to closed periods in non-consolidation models. This option is available for selection when the model is a non-consolidation model that contains both a Time dimension and Scenario dimension. 

• Performance has been improved for Member Selectors within the  majority of areas in the portal. Display of the members and search time are noticeably faster.

Anaplan XL Reporting 

• Performance of Anaplan XL writeback reports has been improved.
